Elevate the Village is a community-centered organization dedicated to helping eliminate food insecurity and bridge the gap in food deserts through direct service., We believe that access to nutritious food is a basic human right-and a cornerstone for building strong, healthy communities.
Through partnerships with the USDA, apartment communities, churches, and other local sponsors; we provide free, healthy meals to children ages 3-17 in underserved and underrepresented neighborhoods. We handle all aspects of the program-from meal preparation and service to cleanup- at no cost for hosts. We operate Monday through Friday in accordance with the DISD school calendar, providing consistent access to healthy meals while fostering community connections and long term sustainability through strategic partnerships and funding.
Our long-term vision is to transform food insecurity into food independence by addressing both immediate hunger and the systems that perpetuate it. We are poised to launch a USDA compliant after school feeding program that will serve at least 1,000 children annually in underserved communities. We have developed a fully operational model, secured community partnerships, created branded outreach and marketing materials, and designed nutritious kid- friendly menus. We are ready to make an immediate and sustainable impact.
